Regulated Firms
Getting Started
Safeheld provides the verification layer between regulated firms, their safeguarding banks, and the regulators who oversee them. From the moment your firm is onboarded, Safeheld continuously verifies that client funds are where they should be, and generates the evidence to prove it.
1. Configure your firm profile
Go to Settings → Firm Details. Enter your firm name, regulatory reference (e.g. FRN 123456), jurisdiction (United Kingdom, European Union, or United States), primary sector (Payments, Investments, or Crypto), primary contact, and safeguarding bank. This information is embedded across all certificates, reports, and regulatory submissions.
2. Activate applicable frameworks
Go to Framework Settings. Safeheld supports ten framework configurations: PS25, CASS, PSD2 / EMD2, MiCA, GENIUS Act, SEC 15c3-3, MAS, SRA, FCA Insurance, and Gambling Commission. Select the tab for each framework that applies to your firm and configure its verification parameters. Each framework operates independently with its own rules.
3. Upload your data
Go to Data Upload. Select the data type using the tabs at the top, Client Balances, Client Transactions, Bank Balances, Bank Transactions, or Account Register. Drag and drop your CSV or XLSX file (up to 50MB) into the upload area, or click Browse files. Safeheld validates the file on ingestion and flags any formatting errors, missing columns, or data type mismatches before processing.
4. Review your safeguarding position
Once data is ingested, your Dashboard populates automatically. You will see your Relevant Funds total, Safeguarded Funds total with coverage percentage, current safeguarding method, acknowledgement letter expiry countdown, variance trend chart, compliance score breakdown, action items, reconciliation health statistics, and framework coverage across all active frameworks.
