    Questions.

Does money in transit count as float?

Yes. Money in transit from direct debit and card top-ups is part of the float and must be protected.

    Can we invest the float?

Only in cash or bank deposits without consent. Anything else needs the HKMA's prior written consent, and Safeheld counts it only once that consent is recorded.

Why is the return a review pack?

The HKMA issues its templates privately to each licensee, so they cannot be reproduced. Safeheld prepares every figure the public guideline requires and keeps your template and filed copy with the filing.

Do you cover licensed stablecoin issuers?

Safeheld's Hong Kong rule set covers the stored value float. Stablecoin reserve rules under the Stablecoins Ordinance are a separate regime.
