    Questions.

What is the monthly safeguarding return?

Since 7 May 2026, UK payment and e-money firms report their safeguarding position to the FCA every month, in the return known as REP027. Safeheld builds it from the reconciled figures, checks it before filing and keeps the record behind every number.

What must the resolution pack contain, and how fast?

The CASS 10A resolution pack sets out where customer money is held and who it belongs to, so an administrator could return it if the firm failed. It must be retrievable within 48 hours. Safeheld keeps it current from the daily reconciliation.

Which reports are ready to file?

The UK monthly safeguarding return is produced ready to file in My FCA. The other reports are produced in each regulator's structure for your team to file in that regulator's portal.

Does Safeheld file on our behalf?

No. Your team reviews, approves and files every report. Safeheld produces it from the reconciled figures and keeps the locked record.

    Which US requirements are covered?

Permissible investments under the money transmission rules of California, Texas, Florida, New York and Washington, the NMLS money services business call report, and the GENIUS Act monthly reserve composition report for stablecoin issuers.

    What does our auditor receive?

Read-only access, an audit engagement workspace and the auditor evidence pack for the period: reconciliations, sign-offs, exceptions, breaches and the source of every file.

    How does verification work?

Every locked record carries a unique code of its contents. Pasting it at safeheld.com/verify confirms the record is unchanged, with no sign-in and no firm data disclosed.

Ready for the auditor, every day.
